SHOW DATABASES very slow on chopin

It takes a long time for the left frame on phpMyAdmin to load.
Queries from deployed applications seem fine.
SHOW PROCESSES in phpMyAdmin also seems fine.
A long time later, once things have loaded, I can select a database and view tables just fine.

This is due to the amount of databases phpMyAdmin has to process.

I see. I'll be trying to work around this then.
It seems I can log in directly to a table by visiting
https://<name>.x10.mx:2083/3rdparty/phpMyAdmin/tbl_structure.php?db=<database>&table=<table>
which will suffice until I need to create new tables or something.
