Its me again ...seems like I`m here alot askin question. anyway I went to install this mod well the mod works great but look what it did to my forum http://www.wworld.x10hosting.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=321 Here is my viewtopic_body.tpl

I think the problem is in viewtopic.php. Whats the exact name of the mod?

signature_control_1.0.0 and signature_control_1.2.1 I tried the first one and then the second the mod installed but now I get my tables all out of wack I have also tried abnormal_post_widening_fix 1.0.3em hope this helps

viewtopic.php is in the same folder as index.php. But did you upgrade from v1.0.0 to v1.2.1 or did you use the v1.2.1 mod file?

I upgraded from 1.0.0 to 1.0.3 to 1.2.0 (1.0.0 was first then upgrade to 1.0.3 then to 1.2.0)

The 1.0.3 was a post widening fix. It didn`t work at all. I found the best thing to do was to take my backup copy of the forum and install it. Now I`m back to before it was installed. I would like to install again though .......can you tell me the right way to do it

If you have replaced all the files you should install from v1.2.1 instead of upgrading. I think some where during an upgrade something went wrong.

ok I tried 1.2.1 and all went well with easymod install except the 3rd step then there was one error and the last 2 halted, they were mysql changes. The one that failed was something about exotic bbcode_something and then the last 2 were halted so I didn`t finish the install.

instead of all this fuss you should have reverted the codes so that the script can be reversed undoing the changes.Then re-install the mod manually if you used easymod.The problem is faced only in easymod.
You can pm me regarding this if you wanna change the codes to undo.

Are you talking about uninstall scripts or something for mods ? cause that would be cool to

Yes easy mod is for phpbb2.
Bigguy's forum is a phpbb forum.
And yes i am talking about uninstalling the mod.
I think you would'nt mind uninstalling the mod.
Plz do not make any more changes to the files as it may become difficult for me to trace the code.
If you need help plz send me the signature mod (original).I will try to reverse the changes that is to uninstall it.
