Signed up for Ad-free; being prompted for Ad-Enhanced account info

I signed up for an Ad-Free Hosting Account and received my Confirmation email ("x10Hosting - Ad-Free Hosting Account Confirmation") at 4:06 GMT November 7, 2008. I followed the link and was told I was put in the queue and that it would take 310 minutes to activate.

I have not received any additional email messages, but since it is now 12:15 GMT, I am assuming the account is activated.

When I attempt to login, I get a "Link Account" panel inviting me to use the "Ad-Enhanced hosting account management panel" by linking my forum account to my hosting account.

Why is this message referencing an Ad-Enhanced account when I signed up for an Ad-Free account?

I don't want to enter my username and hit continue if this is going to switch my account from Ad-Free to Ad-Enhanced.

BTW, are Hosting, Forum, and cPanel usernames all the same?

Ignore the fact that it says 'Ad-Enhanced', just enter your username.

The Forum and cPanel/Hosting accounts are separate (Hosting and cPanel are the same thing).

Unfortunately, now when I click on the link in my Confirmation email, I get

An Error Has Occurred
You must follow a valid link to this page.

Is there another way to link my forum account to my hosting account?

What is the cpanel username you are trying to link.

Our backend system usually links Forum and Hosting accounts that use the same e-mail address.
