Check in your settings.php that you are using the database server host as "localhost"




Login to cpanel

Backup the database first.

and goto MySQL Databases and drop the user(Don't delete the user or database) then re assign the user to the database with all privileges

I am unable to login to the Cpanel...it says my username and password are incorrect, although they are not.

Reset your cpanel password in your account panel http://x10hosting.com/control

I got the repair_settings.php to load but it still says the Sql DB is busy, try again later??? Is this a problem with my site or the host?

There HAS to be something wrong with the Sql server on this end, i have triple checked everything but i still get Sql busy errors.......

Ill try that but all the sql db info is correct in the settings.php.

The above steps ensures the correct privileges to the database user to access the database. it is not about the info.

I dont see how i can drop the user without deleting it. Sorry, im confused.

1. cPanel --> MySQL Databases

Current Databases

aaa_jo151 0.00 MB aaa_jo151 X Delete Database

Click on the user
Check ALL PRIVILEGES on the next screen Even if all the other boxes are checked, check "ALL"
Click "Save Changes"
Repeat for all db users
