Site files & folders vanished

It seems my main site files & others of other sites based in other folders have vanished ...
I discovered this when I got

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

and on close examination with an FTP client, that there where just some empty folders :rant2:

I have to see what to do now ....
