Site not showing up

I have uploaded my web site files which have an index.htm file but nothing pops up when I go to my web address, I just get the x10 logo and :-

Welcome to the home of slater-family.com
To change this page upload your web site to the public_html directory.
Created 5th March 2024

Note today is 10th March 2024 so I presume my files are somehow not being taken notice of.

I notice that in the public_html directory there are already a lot of files - nothing to do with me they were there when I opened my account and I have left them there.
This is what my directory looks like attached where you can see the index.html file there.

Any help much appreciated - I am a bit of a newbe to all this.

Look in the /domains/ directory.


Upload files to
default domain: /domains/default.domain/public_html
There is a symlink in /root for the default domain.

No symlink for:
second domain: /domains/second.domain/public_html
third domain: /domains/third.domain/public_html

I look in the folder you mention and there are already files (Index.html for example. Should I remove all that stuff first? I guess it's the files which produce the text and logo for x10 hosting when I try to get to the site. Is it ok to delete these files and then upload my own?

Yes they can be removed, and your custom error pages can be added.
