Since the migration from Cpanel to DirectAdmin:

my X10hosting account password is functional.
Once connected I access 1) to DirectAdmin by the "Open Cpanel" button. And from there 2) to my database (by a ticket for each session, if I understood correctly).
But no direct access (neither to 1 nor to 2)) with my username and password.

In addition I can not access my site "mozuzi.x10.mx" with an FTP client either.
And on my site, access to my database gives me:
“Fatal error: Uncaught PDOException: SQLSTATE [28000] [1045] Access denied for user 'jakkiki' @ 'localhost' (using password: YES)” …… etc etc.

please tell me how to do it? Can I reset my password?

I'm sorry, I think I don't 100% understand.

When you log in to https://x10hosting.com/sso/main it works. Then, you click the "cpanel" button. Does that ask for a password again?

Once you log in to DirectAdmin, you can change your passwords for FTP (have to change the password for the main user if your FTP login is the same as your main login) and MySQL (password is different, you have to set it on the MySQL page).

  • Hello, thank you for your quick response.
When I connect to https://x10hosting.com/sso/main, it works. Then I click on the "cpanel" button. And I get the page: https://x12.x10hosting.com:2222/ which gives me DirectAdmin without asking for a password.

but if I call https://x12.x10hosting.com:2222/ I have the password request and that of my x10 account does not work.
By trying https://x12.x10hosting.com/ I get the message: "Apache is functioning normally".

    with DirectAdmin pannel:
    1) When I try to change the FTP password I get the message: "Unable to change password
    Old password incorrect ".
    2) by connecting to my database with the "phpMyAdmin" button which gives me my database [address: https://x12.x10hosting.com/phpMyAdmin/index.php]. I am connected with an identifier (*) generated by direct admin for the session.
If I try to "change password" I get the message

    Capture d’écran 2020-06-29 à 14.19.54.png
    ‘Da_sso_uxXuWyb0T’ @ ‘’ localhost is the generated identifier (*)

In summary username and password of my X10hosting account are inoperative on the direct Admin panel and on my client
    FTP (I've tried several).

thank you for your gleams to try to solve my problem.

    cordially

FTP I don't know if that is going to be able to be fixed at this moment while the admins are tying your forum, x10 SSO, and DirectAdmin accounts together. Have you tried the password reset on the main page? Maybe that will force it to sync? https://x10hosting.com/sso/login/forgotten

You have to change SQL passwords from DirectAdmin. MySQL is locked down to only do database and lower level maintenance; high level create/drop database, add/drop user, etc. are only done through DirectAdmin. https://x12.x10hosting.com:2222/user/database

Your username for SQL generally looks like someuser_USERNAME@localhost, where USERNAME is your x10 user name. You might want to double check your MySQL user name at the link directly above.

Hi GarrettRoyce, the administrators have probably synchronized my accounts, I was able to access the reset password page.
directAdmin, Ftp, mySQL: everything is OK!
Very happy that the problems are resolved.
all my thanks
