Site problems

When I attempt to use ftp to backup my site, a few hundred files later it can't connect anymore. I also have tried visiting the site and it doesnt work. my friend's say it works fine.

You probably are using too many multiple connections.

ah, for filezilla I put 10 files at a time.

Your IP is not on the firewall temporary block list anymore, so you should be able to connect. If you're using many connections, the firewall will temporary block your IP Address.
Go to FileZilla settings, and disable "Multiple connections".

well is there a max I can do for connections? I set it to one for now.

FileZilla opens lots of connections even if you put 10, it will open much more.
Leave it in 1 and you'll have no problems.

actually. I did get a problem. i tried 1 and i still got disconnected. now im blocked from my site

I removed your IP from the block list, you should be able to connect now.
Go to FileZilla settings and TOTALLY disable multiple connections.

I set the max simultaneous transfers to 1

and set the limit for concurrent download to 1


and set the limit for concurrent upload to 1

I used those settings and still got disconnected!

I've removed your IP Address again. Do you have the latest FileZilla version?
Many people use FileZilla and works for them... Try using another FTP Client.

Mm, I have the latest nightly build of filezilla.
