Site really slow/timeouts?

Hi!
I just started using x10 and it's way slower than I expected, and I'm on a 100 mbit line.
I'm on the chopin server. I get about 140 ping which isn't that weird since it's hosted in U.S. and I live in Sweden, but that site loads really slowly (takes about 8 seconds to load a page)
Is this a temporary issue or what?

I don't work for X10 but..

Ping times have little relationship with actual page loading times.
Sites that are heavily dependant upon server side processing or database interaction are known to be a little slow on the free hosting accounts but not that much. Please post a link to your site.
