Site showing default page after deleteion

I uploaded files for installation of WordPress but when I go to my domain it shows a blank page that just has "Hi" in it.

Where have you uploaded them ?
It should be placed "inside" public_html folder.

Yes I uploaded them to the public_html directory

Okay, first delete or rename index.html that you have in your public_html.

Also, check if the file permissions are set correctly.
It should be 755 for folders and 644 for files.

Thanks, but it seems that the files uploaded on this webhost are reviewed or something before they actually put it online. Anyway thanks for you help anyway I'll rep you .
