Site vanished, shows "Domain Available!!" page

Shortly after I had registered a free hosting account and successfully uploaded a site, the whole site vanished again. A default "Domain Available" page is shown now.

My site's files are still present as seen via FTP, and all settings in cPanel and the account panel do look correct.

So it seems that just the domain assignment is missing. Why?
