Hey guys, my account had been suspended for inactivity. Common problem I know. But, I reactivated the account, it now shows it's active, but my zencart and forums will not load. When I go to my site (pursuitbaits.x10hosting.com/zencart) I get the following message:

Sorry!
There seems to be a problem connecting to our database. Please give us a few minutes to remedy the problem. Thank you.

When I try to load our forums, I get this message:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Access denied for user 'pursuit_phpb1'@'localhost' (using password: YES) [1045]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

I've opened a support ticket but I was really hoping that someone could help me out here. We're ready to open our store, but need to get it working first. It worked fine prior to the suspension. I've since purchased the $3.00/yr so we don't have to long into the forums. Any help would be great!

I would log on to the control panel and check to see if
1. databases for zencart and forums are still there.
2. user 'pursuit_phpb1' is still there

Ok, just checked and they are still there, as well as the user names.

Edit:

Any other tips? I got a reply to my support ticket stating that Stoli was being repaired but I found it weird this happened right after un-suspending an upgrading my account. Just fearing our hard work is lost with the Zen-Cart. We're trying to have our grand opening this week. :eek:hnoes:

2 things, first, in cPanel on the left bar, at the bottom there is a status link, click it to verify MySQL is running, then reply in the ticket asking them to confirm the error, or send it to an admin to check it out

Ok I have not got much help with my support ticket. My pages will load but I'm still getting the abov e error messages. What has caused my Zencart to stop loading?

When you say you haven't gotten much help from your support ticket, do you mean that you have not yet received a response?

If so, you may want to stop replying to it, as older tickets get answered first, and the more you reply to it, the further down in the queue it becomes.

If you mean that the solution provided in the support ticket did not fix the issue, please reopen the same ticket regarding this problem (if it has already been closed) and make another reply with the problem.

Are you sure the password set in the forums and the zencart is the same as the password for the user in the database? You might want to change the password for both just to make sure.

When I say I haven't got much help, the only answer i've got was the servers were down. Then I got another reply saying my site is operating just fine and they don't see a problem.

My zencart is at pursuitbaits.x10hosting.com/zencart

However it's giving the above error message. The forums im not worried about. The shopping cart I am.

When I log into the Cpanel, I am able to open the database for both Zen-Cart and the Forums. Im new to this, is there something in particular I should look for?

in my /public_html/zencart/includes/configure.php (and the other one in the admin folder)

please verify that this informaton is correct, the db user, the db and the password, if you still can not get it to work, reinstall zencart but do not overwrite the db, you may be able to export your item tables from the old db and import them into the new db....

Code:
// define our database connection
  define('DB_TYPE', 'mysql');
  define('DB_PREFIX', 'zen1_');
  [B]define('DB_SERVER', 'localhost');
  define('DB_SERVER_USERNAME', 'lhyman_xxxx');
  define('DB_SERVER_PASSWORD', 'xxxxxx');
  define('DB_DATABASE', 'lhyman_xxxxxxx');[/B]
  define('USE_PCONNECT', 'false');
  define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'db');
  // for STORE_SESSIONS, use 'db' for best support, or '' for file-based storage
