sitebuilder - modify after installation

I created a quick template with some info and had sitebuilder offload to my hosting dir. I assumed I would be able to edit the template later but sitebuilder wants to create a new page. Is that its only function?

I don't use the sitebuilder but I am guessing you can edit it via your filemanager.
