hi

yesterday I registered for a paid web hosting for 1-year.

and I received the account immediately !

don't rush I haven't finish yet :rant2:

believe it or not !, the x10hosting webhosting is better than the paid webhosting !!! :eek4:

in paid hosting: the cPanel menu is missing a lot of services and icons unlike the x10hosting cPanel menu !

there's no "Backup", "Backup Wizard" icons on the paid hosting.. :lockd:

the problem is: I already paid, there's no way I can get my money back !!, no moneyback service ! :eek4:

so ^*&#^$ them :thefinger

I really like x10hosting for hosting my account for all these months.. :happysad::happysad:

now I noticed that x10hosting free webhosting service is a lot better than many of paid webhosting.. :happysad:
and x10 support rocks !

sorry x10 for leaving you, but I don't have a choice.. I've already paid

thanks a lot..

?

What is all missing, because Corey just mentioned he's updating cPanel in IRC.

But, here's the problems I'm seeing - I've got all the icons you just mentioned missing. They're right next to File Manager and Legacy File Manager on mine, and I'm on paid hosting with x10 as well!

I'm gunna try and see if I can point Corey to this thread, maybe he can shed some light on whats breaking.

I do not see any orders in our billing system from you.

Please open a ticket here: http://clients.x10hosting.com and I'll be happy to look into it for you.

Re: Goodbye x10hosting :(

no no, I didn't mean the x10hosting paid hosting..

I mean siteground.com paid webhosting.

what I meant is that I prefer the x10 free hosting than the siteground.com paid hosting and other paid web hosting websites
Edit:
sorry for inconvenience..

Part of the confusion's from the topic (goodbye x10hosting) :)

That's probably the source of most of it

Re: Goodbye x10hosting :(

I'm going to change the title to 'siteground' instead of x10hosting then, it's a bit misleading currently :)

LOL and the mysterious paid host has been unraveled... What services are missing from their cPanel from x10's cPanel??? So at least others won't have to sign up there just to find out...

Full cPanel, looks just like free but not as unstable. Surprisingly x10free is actually stable quite often, but when it's not, paid is, and that's a nice thing to know :)

Edit: To clarify this too, I'm saying surprisingly because no other host I've been on is anywhere near as stable as x10 as soon as they allow php and sql. X10's php system does a good job of keeping things in check though :)

If it's missing the backup function, would you really need to sign up just to see what else is missing? Seriously, the backup function is a saving grace for the admins cause it's a 1 button "back dis thing up!" :)

If it's missing backup, it's probably missing something really important, like MySQL databases or File Manager ;)

Oh yeah it's an answer, it's just a really RETARDED one.

I seriously do not get why they disabled the backup icon, it makes no sense at all. Cause now you can still do it, but it's all by hand with FTP doing a full download of everything.

Makes no sense. Not one smidgen.

No talk of other webhosts!
Please could a Sr Mod or the Off Topic mod remove this?

Not to step on any toes here, but I think the Boss was well aware of the thread ( Corey posted twice on the first page ) and even changed the topic to not be so confusing.

So i think if he was aware of what was being discussed, you'd think he would of taken care of it if it was such a big problem??

hmm... You really should've read reviews first before choosing a host.

If you would've gone with x10 Paid hosting, you wouldn't regret every cent that you pay for.

Take it from me. I was formerly mr kennedy in the forums and that account was associated with an x10 Paid account.

the funny part is: I've read the reviews after I paid.. :dunno:

and the hilarious part is: most of the costumers hate them, and one of them said that "SiteGround.com" deleted his whole account and files, and when he asked them they said that his website causes a high CPU usage, and when he requested a Backup for his website they said they don't have a backup.

it's that simple, one click and your account will disappear ! :thefinger

but not everything about them is bad, because the only great thing about them is their support. :happysad:

My site tmondo.com is hosted here on one of the paid servers of x10 with NO any issues.
The cheapest plan is Developer Package for $20/Year, what all you get is 500MB disk space and 20 GB BW. plus GOOD uptime and better server stability.

This doesn't make sense. If what you say is true, then here's the simple solution;

DON'T LEAVE x10's FREE HOSTING!

Abandon the other host, & stay here. Cut your losses now. Perhaps you might be able to re-sell your paid hosting account onto someone who isn't aware of x10's services yet (unfortunately for them!)
