Slicing in Photoshop Elements 6

How do I slice in Photoshop Elements 6? I can't find the slice tool. I also need to know if it's possible to edit it in Nvu.

no its not possible in Elements or Nvu.
you can use GIMP.

yes it is..I slice in Photoshop Elements 4....

could you tell me where the slice tools is? it's not over by the other tools.

If you are using layers (which you should) you can duplicate the layer to new document and then crop so the document is the same size as the shape which you wish to use and then you save it. It maybe more time consuming, but it works, I've used it enough times
