Slow Server

Hi,

When is this fixed! Because I can't work on my script now! It's to slow! I can wait 5 minutes for every page!

I installed the SMF forum package, and While it doesn't literally take 5 minutes for me to (re)load every page it is indeed very slow, anyone will give up visiting such a forum lol :biggrin:

It is indeed slow.
Can you tell me which server you're on?

I think there're just too many SMF on the server.
Or maybe something is wrong with your script?

I'm gonna try putting SMF on my website.

EDIT : I'm on Lotus Server and I just tested SMF. It toke about 2-5 second to load each page.

Lotus must be the slowest server on earth, ATM!

This is probably just maintenance being done on one of the servers. Long load times aren't normal at all, and there's definitely nothing wrong with SMF.
It'll probably be all better tomorrow. Until it's over, you should probably develop your scripts on your local computers.

I can tell you all that it is fast for the moment. Hopefully the speed will remain like this most of the time

I'm not sure if this would cause the problem, but x10hosting is migrating servers right now. That might contribute... :dunno:

What's your source of info on this?

Are you reading an out of date Update from the News section?

Or is this something you have learned recently from elsewhere?

As of right now, I can say that I am having the same problem. I am on the stoli server and phpbb is taking forever to load. Hopefully it is some maintaince

Lotus worked fine for me, even before the migration.
