Small proxy server alowed??

Hi, I was just wondering if x10 allows members to have a small proxy script running. I have been looking for a while but couldnt find any information related to this. I was planning to setup Glype to access restricted webpages at school.

Not sure about whether or not the proxy script would be allowable, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be allowed for the purpose you indicated. x10 generally disallows anything that could be seen as illegal or that could bring on a lawsuit against them :biggrin:

If you plan to use it for bypassing school, and you keep it hidden, maybe - probably not - x10 will let you host it, but I doubt it.

Proxies: We do not allow proxies of any kind on our servers.

General rule to follow... if it's not a website it's not allowed.
