smf ads

i want to put ads on my smf forum i have installed the mod: Ad Management Mod but i am using smf version: smf 2.0 beta 3.1 public and it doesn't work i got to the administration page for it but it never adds the ads to my smf forum also i am using a downloaded theme for my smf forum do i have to use the default ones to use them?

i did i am using smf 2.0 beta 3.1 public

its 3.1 not 3.0 and 3.1 is not supported so how can i add the ads?

also the global headers and footers is not supported either i tried asking if they could support smf 2.0 beta 3.1 public but i got no response in 4 days(still have none)
