smf ftp help

im using smf packages when i try 2 install them it ask for my ftp information so when i enter them they dont work can anyone help me with this plz

What information are you enter, also the path to SMF, what are you entering there?

Port: 21
Username: infernus
Password: ***********
Local path to SMF: public_html/BT3/Forum

Check your ownership on files. It is more than likely your files haveto be re-owned. You can do this through ftp; If any of the files or folders have a 99 beside them it means apache owns your files not you and thus you cannot change them at all.

The 99 I am referring to only shows in ftp clients.

still nothing, i dont know whats wrong on the other domains that i had everything was normal
