SMF Webinstall

I have searched and found nothing.
When I try to install SMF by using the Webinstall option. I get an error:

Warning: unpack() [function.unpack]: Type H: not enough input, need 1, have 0 in /home/rovin/public_html/webinstall.php on line 1051

and I cannot continue anymore. I have tried several times but to know avail. Please don't say try downloading and installing SMF manually. The webinstall download is here, http://www.simplemachines.org/download at the bottom.
