If you says that, using the exact same settings, joomla can connect but not the helpdesk, then it's a problem with the helpdesk code, not our servers.

I created the user test, I am trying to reach the helpdesk now.

When I try to submit a ticket, I get a "You do not have sufficient access rights to complete this task" error.

I just got the error. Since I was able to receive the other email, it can only go for the idea that either it was not configured correctly or that there is a problem with the joomlatag code.

the same code is running over my localhost. i am getting the emails from localhost.

I have check the settings thousands of time ... the same code was running fine over my another hosting and from cupple of days i got the error over the live site as i m getting the error over your server.

Thats why i m searching for another hosting where they support my setting as my localhost is supporting and as my current hosting was supporting but from cupple of days they are not able to rectify the problem.

Do assist if you resolve the problem i will transfer my live site over your premer hosting

for joomla, you are using the php mail() function, not smtp. As for the SMTP settings, are you sure you added the user to cPanel and are using the settings that where reported there.
