well wen i try to send a mail i get tis mesage

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'person's_email@yahoo.com'. Subject 'Re: hey', Account: 'matt.fortin@monstermatt2.pcriot.com', Server: 'stoli.x10hosting.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '451 Temporary local problem - please try later', Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 451, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

hmm, ok after some experimentation

Only thing I can think of was that it would seem the email is sensitive to "." in the name part of an email so

if you were to mail a buddy as buddy.friend@somewhere.com it would fail

if your buddy has a good name so you call him "spod" and your mailer has that, it would send mail to "spod <buddy.friend@somewhere.com>" which works.

(I was testing this and heres why I came up with this thought)

501 matt.fortin@monstermatt2.pcriot.com: missing or malformed local part (expected word or "<")

mail from: matt <matt.fortin@monstermatt2.pcriot.com>

edit: ok umm i was trying to go into my cpanel but the page cannot be displayed so im guessing something is down on my site so thats why i cant send nore receave mail

edit:eek:k i tryed to go on the cpanel using stoli.x10hosting.com:2082 and monstermatt2.pcriot.com:2082 and none of them can connect

are you sure the stoli server is up bcus looks to me its down

Stoli looks fine, I see your site, your cpanel and your mail server..

however, what I dont see are ads on your web pages.... which will lead to a suspension you should get those up quick.

What Im saying is if your mail program is sending badly formed mail data, then its going to reject it, if it sends it properly, it should be fine, eg, if it sends your display name, and then in <> it puts your email (Which is how they all normally work) then it accepts it..

Those messages were done direct on your server, using your credentials..

umm can u see if some one can reset the mail server because i was fine all day yesterday like i was able to send it the normal way without the <email> and today i was conne send something and it didnt work and on top of that i wanted to see f i still recave mail and i dont

BIG PROBLEM

smtp issues wouldnt stop you seeing mail, only sending.
If you're having pop3 issues as well that makes it very odd.

Can you please try using standard smtp not ssl?

Normally this would be correct but there doesnt appear to be a dns entry for mail.monstermatt2.pcriot.com - which wasnt the hostname you used yesterday. hence you got a different error.

Ive now added that record, please try now.

now when i try to send i get this

so now the pop3 is ok now i need help with the smtp

ok this is wut i did

pop3 mail.monstermatt2.pcriot.com (using ssl no)
smtp mail.monstermatt2.pcriot.com (using ssl yes :port 465)

everything is working now
