Hi.
I have been trying to configure my smtp server for site registration. This isn't rocket science since I had it working previously on an earlier Joomla install. Now it won't connect to the smtp server for some odd reason. I have checked, and rechecked the joomla settings, and everything looks good. I also tested my smtp server via my synchronet BBS software, and it works fine.
I am wondering if you folks have shut down port 25?
