Hi,
I have in the last 2 weeks or so been getting frequent & often very frustrating ftp interruptions... quite often, but not always with the error message, that there are too many connections from this account, although there may be just one. I at times use 2. In the past I never got this type of problem at all.
At other times I get errors like timeout (roughly translated from German).
also, even when transferring relatively small files like a new Drupal site of just a couple of MBs, I keep getting interruptions, which seem to have become regular & often it takes looooong b4 there's a reconnection, though many attempts end up in failure with the messages, there've bewen too many attempts for particular files.
I use the normally very reliable filezilla ftp client and quite often upload files for testing different stuff, like CMSsytems.
At the time of writing this (around 16:00 GMT) there was such a long interruption when just transferring about 300kb...
this is a small part of it:
It did not even finish a good number of them, giving up with such an error beside each of those mostly html/php/image files belonging to the new Drupal 5.0 CMS "Too many tries".
Could anyone else be experiencing the same and if so, any help from the admin?
It'd be great if the source of the error could be identified, as this was not the case before.
NB: I tried to "Search" b4 posting for "ftp" postings but was surprised to get the result that there were no search results for "ftp", which I couldn't quite believe!
