1. Any PHP files should have permissions set to 0644 and any directories should have permissions set to 0755

2. .htaccess file that uses mod_rewrite should have the line

RewriteBase /

( or /foo/ if the script is installed in the /foo subdirectory ) before any RewriteRule directive.
