I posted this on the forums of the host I'm currently using:

I'm using the kusaba X imageboard script to make an imageboard for a school. It's basically a forum that doesn't require registrations and is based around the pictures that the users upload. It's also anonymous and I encourage the users to speak their mind.

Now, that raises some potential issues that I want to get sorted out in case anything happens. I looked through these forums, and apparently there's a list of words that will get my account suspended. I don't allow any porn or illegal material on the site, and if anyone posts it I will ban them. But I don't ban people for cursing. I also have a wordfilter in place that'll change common racist/defamatory terms into something else.

The wordfilter list is stored in the MySql DB, so will I get banned by the bot if it sees the words in there? And is my site, just in general, allowed? It's completely open and anonymous, and anyone can upload any image or say anything providing it's not porn and it's legal in the USA. I, and a team of volunteer moderators, actively moderate the boards and delete/ban anyone that breaks the rules.

They use a bot that looks through the MySQL databases and suspends the account if any blacklisted words are found. The thing is, I have a wordfilter stored in my MySQL db that changes any racist/derogatory terms to something else. I asked their admin if the bot will suspend my account if it sees the words, and his response was that having them in the mysql DB was "not recommended" and told me to upgrade to premium.

Does x10hosting do these things? Also is my imageboard, just in general, allowed on x10hosting? I allow cursing like f-- and sh-- but delete any posts/images that are illegal or adult. If everything checks out, I'll switch over.

edit- One last question. Does x10hosting have cpu quotas or mysql db connection quotas? The host I'm using right now does.

The words are fine. The image hosting is not.

Just letting people upload their own images in general is not allowed?

I just looked through the ToS, and it doesn't say anything about not allowing sites that let people post images.
http://x10hosting.com/terms

And the images the users upload are used as part of the discussion. I'm not running an image hosting site like imageshack or photobucket.
Here's an example of a thread with uploaded images:

Sorry if I'm being annoying, I just want a safe place to host my website without fear of it being deleted.

You're safe then; there was some confusion over which way it was going.

As a side note I know it's safe cause about a year or so ago I had to inquire on that cause I was under the impression it was considered image hosting as well - turns out it's considered more of a message board than an "image board," if you will.

Only thing to worry about at all would be resource usage, if it happens to use too much CPU/Ram. From what I understand it's not resource intensive though.
