some time site will be down and ftp not connecting?

some times suddenly the site will be down . after some time it will be up.
and some times ftp also not connects .
-the above situation is occuring frequently-

i am on chopin server .

is any server repair going on ??


can any one tell how to see the up time of the server or my site

There currently isn't a uptime monitor, but they are terminating a lot of accounts so that might be the problem.
