Hi there I have a guest book page on my website and i have only noticed that it has been spamed with sex advertisements.

I have attempted to log into Control Panel >| File manager to delete these, but I cannot Edit HTML for that file.

Can someone please advise how i can edit this file to remove all this spam?

my site is: http://rosemaryandjohn.pcriot.com

Many thanks

You should be able to edit files with FileManager.
What error are you getting? Or why can't you edit it?

What are you using for the guestbook?

Most of the time the entries are stored in a sql database.

What a guestbook is used for, to allow visitors to post messages.. the entire website was used for our wedding, giving our guests the details, photos, etc to post.......

I have no idea where the entrries are stored, but for mine they are stored on the guestbook.log file which I cannot open

You need to edit the file/database where the content of the GuestBook is saved.

Yes I am trying to but i cannot edit the file. when i select the file and press 'HTML Editor' it does not do anything. if i upload my files via Front Page it screws up all my web pages and puts the navigation all out!

This is my point, I cannot select 'HMTL Editor' in order to edit my page.
