Over the past two or three days, my forum, which is the only thing on my entire site (fortescomics.net) has been saying that it is having problems connecting to the database. When I went into the MySQL Database Manager, I noticed that for a second, it said I have no databases associated with my account, which means that the server itself is having issues connecting to the database at various times.
While it is only a small annoyance, I would like to know what's causing this, and if there's anything I can do on my end to help reduce the frequency of such an error.
