Getting the following error on my website:

General Error

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Access denied for user 'kartikd_kartikd'@'localhost' (using password: YES) [1045]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

I have done no modifications to the code. Infact not even logged into the FTP off late.. Can you'll please check what the problem is and resolve it at the earliest..

Try recreating the MySQL user.

Just did that but still no luck.. Error remains the same..

Try using mysql5 to connect

I am using the default databases that you'll provide.. I guess you guys provide only mysql4.. How can I upgrade to mysql5?

It should work now. You didn't assign the user to the database.
