SQL problems

I'm attempting to set up a phpBB forum on this site but I am getting the following error:

"SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Access denied for user 'forum'@'web8.vital.x10hosting.com' (using password: YES) [1045]"

I haven't been able to find any info on how to fix the problem in either the support documentation or support forums.

The database username must be in the format of cpanelusername_databaseusername

and also the databasename too in the format of cpanelusername_databasename
