SQL Server probs

My site is hosted on chopin. (www.cakehut.co.cc). It hosts a php+mysql based photo gallery. Of late my site is taking too long to load. 95% of the time it gives back an error saying "sql server has gone away". Until a couple of days back, it was working fine. I had changed some of the dns setting from cpanel. But I don't think that is the problem as Name resolution is done perfectly. Even The html pages in the www root folder works perfectly when called directly. It is only when I try to use the mysql database that the problem start.

Even my cpanel page gets stuck half way around. Only the cpanel banner shows up. So I'm not able to do any other configurations.

Please advise appropriate action.
My site has been behaving erratically for nearly 40hrs.

The problems seem to have stopped. All my site services are working fine now. I saw a post on disk space issues on chopin yesterday. I hope that was the problem and it was solved.

Anyway thanks for the great work you people are doing.
