Squirrel Mail installation

I want to install Squirrel Mail on my website, but I don't know how to run the configuration perl file...Does the free hosting even support perl?

cgi-bin (ie Perl and Python via the web) have been disabled due to abuse.

So, I can't install squirrel mail...Is there any other mail client which does not require a database?

EDIT: I have a problem. I can't receive any email...Even with the email from the cPanel. I can send but not receive.
