I need to know how to enable SSH on my account in order to install a Minecraft server as seen here http://x10hosting.com/forums/vps-tutorials/146164-installing-game-servers-your-vps.html .

That thread you referred to has instructions for your VPS, not a free hosting account. SSH is not available in free hosting. Please see this plan comparison that lists what is and is not available for your free hosting account: http://x10hosting.com/free-hosting-comparison
