SSH Issue.

Hello Staff,
I am trying to install an Eggdrop bot. I log into SSH, and go to the directory, then do ./configure, and it comes up permission denied. Are there any ways of getting around this?

chmod +x configure
Run that and then try.

Thank you very much Christopher for your quick reply. Now I get another error. I don't know if it is server related or not. Any ideas?

checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables

It seems glibc-dev has to be installed for it to work. I highly doubt that it'll be installed though.
