Hi,
I have been noticing lately that my site is down every now and then. It seems to have become more that just a tiny problem now. It's affecting my traffic and having my site down during the peak hours is not good for my site.

What's going on? I'm on the AD-FREE Cossacks server and I can never seem to have at least one whole day where there is no interruption of service.

Well, I just refreshed my site and now I get "SSL-Explorer:::Login" page. What is this!? :eek4:

I surely know I didn't do this. Can you guys at least tell us when you're going to be doing server updates? I checked the news and announcements section and there's no information regarding Cossacks since the 25th of February.

If you want to check it out yourself, go to http://www.scanswers.org. There should be a different page there than what you see...

Can somebody tell me what's going on here?

Same thing here. One second I'm working on my site, next thing the SLL shows up. Now it seems not even that will show up, all I get is an "Unable to Connect".

Edit: Cpanels says: httpd (2.2.8 (Unix)):Failed

Well, I am sorry to say that we were unable to restore the user accounts from before we had our unexpected shutdown. But, the alternative is to register again! We have opened registration again and the Poll and Chatbox have been put back up.

Since some of you may not want to go through the registration process again, we will leave the answers open to the public, but will require you to accept the terms and conditions before viewing the answers.

Those are the updates for now, thanks for coming back!

Well, we have set all answer pages to public view (meaning no registration or logging in is required).

We'll keep on working to get the user accounts back.

User Registration is closed until we can restore our user accounts.

Yea, it's back up now. But, I would at least like to be informed about when this will happen. Then you can prepare your visitors and members before they automatically assume you shut down your site.

Whatever. That's my suggestion. Warn us before you start tinkering with the server. Otherwise it gets quite bothersome.

Is there any fixing this? I just want to know what's going on. I know hosts have to perform maintenance but they should just tell everyone first. Like YouTube.com displays a message at the top saying that they will be performing maintenance around 10 P.M.

We were not doing any maintenance on your server at that time. Something unexpected must have gone wrong, something that should not have.

It happens occasionally as a result of many different things, mainly abuse.

When we are doing things with servers, we almost always make a post informing everyone of what is going on.
