Edit: I think I've already set it up. Website is working with SSL and there's no need to use www to access it.

-----
Hey there. I've recently added a custom domain as a Domain Pointer (alias) in DirectAdmin, and for SSL I have already setup the Cloudflare DNS in Freenom, which is where I got the domain, but the SSL is working only after I access the site with www.

If I attempt to open https://eliasorz.gq first (without www), my browser shows a warning message that the certificate is only valid for x12.x10hosting.com .

I would like to know if there's something I need to add or change in my Cloudflare or DA configuration to be able to access my site using https properly, without www.

"Always Use HTTPS" and "Automatic HTTPS Rewrites" are enabled on CF, and this is how my DNS configuration looks in CF. Plain "eliasorz.gq" works but it's not redirecting to https either.

i looked at your link and got a 404 not found for the blog.
i dont think x10 free hosting accounts support https anymore.
the paid accounts do.

some say there is a way around that with cloudflare but i dont think its secure.
since it dont officially make your site https.
just my opinion.

Thanks for the reply. The 404 error is due to a similar issue I've faced before, which I believe is fixed eventually (I added a redirect from "eliasmaker.x10host.com" to "eliasorz.gq", but it caused a redirection error and the page did not load, so I deleted it and now it's giving a 404 error). I think it's because I added eliasorz.gq as a Domain Pointer (alias) and not as a separate domain...

My page seems to be working already with SSL though. There's no need to use www anymore, which had me worried for a bit because I really don't want to use www on my site.
