you can not use [ SSL/TLS ] on x10hosting's free-hosting accounts
The current setup for x10hosting's free-hosting servers will not work with SSL (regardless of IP shared or dedicated or what cPanel shows) - x10hosting traded SSL for increased stability

Hi, I'd just to clarify why we can't offer SSL on free hosting. In order to install an SSL certificate, your site must have its own IP address, due to the way SSL works. All free websites share an IP address with hundreds of other users, as giving each account their own IP address for free is impossible. IP addresses cost a small amount of money each, but giving them out for free to thousands of users really stacks up to be a huge and impossible cost.
If you wish to use SSL, you can use our x10Premium service with a Dedicated IP address.
