Starka 2083 port not working

My site is on Starka. It loads up fine, so starka is okay... until I load up port 2083 (for cPanel).

cPanel has been having problems on starka for me for a LONG time (few months now!) and when it does work, its so slow! and connections keep getting refused!

what am i doing wrong? it seems as though I'm the only one having this problem, nobody else is reporting these type of problems!

Are you using this link? https://starka.x10hosting.com:2083/
You could try: http://starka.x10hosting.com:2082/ which is the non SSL version.

Is your internet connection fairly stable? I've had a test account on starka for a while now, and have never had any issues with cPanel.
You could try appending :2083 to your main domain.

Yeah, my internet connection is pretty dang stable! I love it!

I usually just append :2083 to my main domain, and then it redirects me to starka.x10hosting.com:2083

if that doesn't work, I use 2082 instead, and then it takes me to starka.x10hosting.com:2082

if that doesn't work, I go directly to starka.x10hosting.com:2083

if that doesn't work, I go directly to starka.x10hosting.com:2082

if that doesn't work, I get frustrated

...that's my routine procedure

Is it maybe because I'm far away from the server? I'm currently in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Maybe that's why my ping time to starka.x10hosting.com is 74ms !

I'm in the UK. I'm further away from the server than you!
I don't know what else could be wrong, as I've never had any issues.
Have you tried a different browser?
