Statfink setup problem

I am having an issue setting up statfink where I can't get past the 'configuration' page. I continually get the error:

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/.../public_html/statfink/helm/config/index.php on line 150

I read in a similar post that upgrading to intermediate PHP solved his problem, but I have already upgraded and I'm now seeing it too.

Any ideas to point me in the right direction here?

Have you definitely created the database, and assigned the user? Are you using the correct credentials in the script's configuration?

I think so. I am following maku's tutorial (HERE) to the letter and this is the first problem I've come across.

I assigned a new user account as well to make sure there wasn't an issue with the first. When that didn't work I deleted the entire DB and started over only to find myself in the same place.

not sure what my next step should be.

How long ago did you upgrade to intermediate PHP?

Got the confirmation email this morning 12 am central. Could it take 12+ hours to convert?

EDIT: Just checked the error logs and found this output:

Is the 'set_time_limit.../installdb.php' error proof that I have yet to upgrade to intermediate PHP?
Edit:
Deleting the entire line "set_time_limit" did the trick, everything worked fine last night.

Anyone know what this time limit was for?
