Still cant send email

this is my third posting concerning this issue. I can see that exim is down, but is this to do with me not being able to send emails. Some emails that have been sent to me that i have not yet recieved but i only get an error when i tried to send.

Are you referring to the php mail function, or the section in your cPanel?
If it is the php mail function, you need to make a request for the 'Intermediate' php configuration.

nah, its when i try to send emails from my pc. The php auto emailer is fine, some emails that are sent to me have not been delivered and some have. I have read a little about what exim is and what it is used for on servers, and i can see it is email related, so because exim is down i am guessing it is this that is causing the trouble. Would be good to hear something from x10 about this though.

Exim is not really down, it shows down on the page because the firewall blocks open connections to the port.

So I don't quite understand what you are saying. You receive some mail but not all? You're sending it to yourself from your account?
