stoli server load

hey,
i was doing work on my site last night(about midnight EST) and was about to start some this morning(9 am EST). i had noticed last night that my site was loading very slowly. i checked the serverload last night and it was up over 10 and the dot was red. checked it this morning and again serverload was up above 10 and still red. just checked now(20 mins later) and its dropped to about 9. any ideas why the load is so high lately. its difficult to make changes when i have to wait for my page to load so i can see my changes.

Well as people have failed to read so many times. We are currently moving accounts to a new server and data center. That would cause an increase in server load. With that said i am closing this thread.
