Yeah, I realized that here are some other posts related with the issue. Hopefully it will be recognized soon also by sysadmins.

i would be very suprised if the system admins are not as we speak working on the impending issues with the free

servers ?

it is very frustrating as it seems to take ages for the info to filter through regarding server issues and problems relating

to normal operations of members acounts?

im also not very confident that the ticket system is working as it should be ? yes im aware there are lots of tickets but 2 weeks to get a resolution to stuff seems a little long winded ?

o well all that can be done is wait ?

I suppose they do, but what they do are global changes and mods. While doing this, it imposes many minor problems, and if to consider that there are thousands of users, some part of users faces with minor issues... Support starts to fix the issue and when finishes it, that moment another upgrade/update on the server is being made, and everything starts over and over... So I think this procedure seems to be never ending nightmare if the main target of free hosting is being "The most up to date" rather than to be "the most stable".

My post regarding "Are Upgrades of Servers worth of it?" you may read here.

About tickets - what I see from free hosting users posts is that either support tickets almost never answered, or the queue of tickets come to end only 2 weeks later...In my case I have an open ticket, which is already non-actual issue for me now, but it is still left open for 10 days.

i do agree that it seems to be a never ending cycle when it comes to the upgrades !

ive seen myself, 2 major upgrades probably twice as big as the upgrades going on now when the servers where down

for about 2 weeks whilst all the data was being migrated and tested?

so the odd day or 2 offline i can live with i just wish the status page was a little more up to date i.e within the last

hour say when there is problems with the live servers?

Stoli - SAN32 minutes ago

The SAN (Essentially, the server’s harddrive) for free hosting server Stoli has disconnected itself. Administration has been notified and we will update when it is back online.

Everyone’s files should remain intact.

As I predicted, it's HDD related issue. Basin on status page it's just a disconnect, so should be not hard to resolve it )

It's odd that downtime takes so long like 2 days...and the worst thing is this happens frequently...:( Hope this will come end soon, and we will get a stable x10hosting :)
