Hi everybody,
I just made a change to my home page, removing a link from it, but it appears that for some reason that change isn't being reflected on my site. I've checked the html in my index.html file, and the link is gone as it should be, but when I view the page on my browser and view source, the link is there. Does this have something to do with the server migration; are the servers currently holding cached pages or something? I cleared my browser cache, history, and cookies, so I don't think it's anything on my end. I could be wrong, of course. Could anyone please give me some insight?
Thanks,
Lydia

What cPanel link you are using to manage your website?

Follow this to know correct cPanel URL. The current one might be wrong.

Go to https://x10hosting.com/control/login.php and login with forums username and password. Then Click on "View Details" right after your cPanel Name on the main page.

The details of your hosting account are shown on this page. Click on "Login to cPanel" button.

Hmm, I don't see a "login to cPanel" button anywhere. Also, it said that I have a domain name change pending, which I don't, that returned an error. Could there be something wrong with my account?
Thanks,
Lydia

Click on clear button where you got error about domain.

Where you are trying to find login to cPanel button. Can you upload screenshot of that page?

Also which browser you are using?

Hi,
OK, this is what I see when I click "View Details". It's a big page so I had to do 3 captures to get it all.

As for my browser, I'm using Internet Explorer on Windows 7.

Thanks,
Lydia

Sorry lydia, but our Account Panel is having some problem with IE, It is not appearing correct in IE, please try opening it in another browser, you will get Login to cPanel button.

Also this bug has been reported to admins, they will correct it as soon as possible.

Thanks Zubair,
I appreciate your effort on this. Looks like I need to download Firefox. :)
Thanks,
Lydia

You see, with the migration, sometimes an address will lead to the cPanel with the files on the old server. So if you edit them there, you do not see the changes from the web.

For now, you can try http://chopinnew.x10hosting.com:2082/ .... see if that gets you to your "live" files. But the method Zubair mentioned is the preferred method to get to cPanel.

FireFox is a better browser, but not everybody has it as an option (ie using school/library/internet cafe computer).
