Strange SPAM rules on Blogger

Hi,
Today, i noticed to my surprise that my blog:
http://ataarticles.blogspot.com/
had been deleted due to SPAM issues. Now, i have to tell you i am very strict and observant on the normal SPAM rules and found it rather strange as to why my account was deleted when i have not been spamming blogs,forum, (sites at all to be quite frank)!

I, therefore set about researching the SPAM rules related to blogger and found some previous blogspot owners who experienced the same problem like myself due to SPAM:

Also, i checked here regarding the SPAM in blogger.com terms:

Spam: Spam takes several forms in Blogger, all of which can result in deletion of your account or blog. Some examples include creating blogs designed to drive traffic to your site or to move it up in search listings and posting comments on other people's blogs just to promote your site or product.

I find it quite bizarre that adsense ads are allowed to be dispayed on blogger but you get penalised for having an optimised blog in the search engines?
Also, posting good quality comments in other blogs is considered SPAM.

I assume blogger should only be used for personal blogging and not for monetary purposes. But if that was the case, why widgets such as adsense, amazon embedded?

This is one of the reasons I have my own WP blogs. I use them for adsense and also to promote my own websites, both of which I think are acceptable uses and things which Blogger apparently does not feel are acceptable uses.
