Strange

At first, I uploaded an index.htm file to my webspace. It was a redirection to http://hlbc.x10hosting.com/main . I didn't want it there anymore so I deleted the file. The thing is, that process is still going on, redirecting to /main/ when i don't want it to. I tried to overwrite it with a different index.htm file but it still didn't work. Just keeps on redirecting.

Any solutions?

Nevermind about this. It's probably since I just received the hosting a few hours ago lol. A mod can lock or delete this thread.

Hey

Even if you deleted index.html, the redirect is still active. And im assuming since it can find no other files in the directory, it is still redirecting. Remove the redirect and see what happens.

It works fine now, no more redirection, but the thing I did wasn't through the redirection panel on Cpanel, it was a code I put on an index.htm that redirects. I deleted that index.htm but it still redirected.

you use aol? aol and sometimes internet explorer stores the site in the cache whic is anoying and it doesnt always show the real site but the site stored, so it would be still using the stored index file in your cache even if its been deleted
