Sub / Addondomain Limits

On my account, I am planning on creating 3 subdomains, and a addon domain, but when I register the addon domain with cPanel it creates a subdomain that I can't remove, therefore not allowing me to use 3 subdomains. Is there any way to get around this? I don't want a subdomain registered to the same directory as my addon domain.

at this point, i don't think so. I think this has to do with cpanel works. If you want, you can ask for more subdomains in the http://x10hosting.com/forums/feedback-suggestions/ forum
