This morning I changed my x10Hosting subdomain from '.x10.mx' to '.co.cc' on

the 'Hosting Account Main Domain Modification' page.

My main domain was 'sitename.x10.mx', and it is now listed as 'sitename.co.cc' as expected, but I have not been able to view my web pages since this

morning.

Please can you let me know how long this change will take to complete, or if

there are any problems with the changeover?

Many Thanks

co.cc domains have nothing to do with x10hosting. x10hosting does not give them out like x10.bz or x10.mx domains.

You have to go to co.cc and register your domain choice. Most are free. Then use their account tools to set the DNS nameservers for your domain to

ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

It will take up to 24-36 hours for you to see the change. That is how the DNS system works. You have to be patient.

Thanks for you quick response.

Didn't realise .co.cc belonged to a third party, will it cause any problems if I were to change it back to .x10.mx?

It shouldn't cause any problems that can't be solved either way. It's your choice to change your main domain again or to go ahead a register your co.cc for free.

I have changed the x10Hosting sub domain back to x10.mx, and no problems so far.

Do I still need to make any changes to DNS nameservers for x10.mx?

No. x10.mx belongs to x10hosting.com with the nameservers already set correctly by the owner and CEO.
