why is it a free domain and free host?

We are on free domain because, to ensure the successfulness of the free web directory, I decided to try it on some free domains and if it works, then paid. I'm about to tranfer it to a full paid domain name by the end of next week. But since I've done a lot of seo on the free domain, I think I'll not get rid of it so easily
For the free host, well, I kind of like it here in x10 and I'm not having a lot of trouble with the host. But I might be changing to paid host very soon if I find a reason to.
By the way thanks for the advice and hope to see your link appear. #But don't worry, we've been running for almost a year now with this host and get a quite indexing status from search engines.
