suspended account

You keep suspending my account due to inactivity. But I am logging in. For example, I logged in to unsuspend the account on January 1 but then you automatically suspended the account due to inactivity on January 3. What can I do to stop you from suspending my account due to inactivity?

You need to login to the forums to be counted as active. Logging into cPanel, FTP and the Account Panel don't count.

Posting is not a requirement though, but is greatly advised. Also, stay on the forums for a couple of minutes to make sure that the system registers your visit.
As well, make sure that you login here before requesting unsuspension, or the system will suspend you again.

I use a different name on the forums than on my free hosting account, does that matter?
(I also keep getting account suspended due to inactivity)

But I will follow what the previous poster said and maybe that'll cure the inactivity dilemma =)

No your forums and hosting accounts are linked with each other...

so this does not matter...

Seeing that the forum account you currently use is NOT linked to a hosting account, I'd say that if you have more then one forum account it sure does matter as only logins with a forum account linked to an hosting account would count.

We have no way of knowing that the hosting accounts owner logs other wise

Ok, I've logged into the forums with my hosting account name, lets see if it works now =)
